Recently Manchu Lakshmi’s ‘Gundello Godari’ starring Adi, Sandeep Kishen, Tapsee celebrated
its audio launch. The film’s title resembled a traditional telugu title
attracting movie lovers instantly. Even the clippings of the film till
now captured the attention of all. When one came to hear that the audio
is tuned by Isaignani Ilayaraja, their expectations reached dizzy
heights with the hopes of listening to some great melody songs. Movie lovers hailed the creative genius of Manchu Lakshmi at the very young age and her intention of turning to be different from other film makers who are doling out mass entertainers.

Superstar Rajanikanth appreciated Manchu Lakshmi’s efforts and the film
revolves around river Godavari in spates during 1970s, movie lovers
expected a classical love story from Lakshmi. However a clipping of
remix of yesteryear hit ‘Mavayya
Vastadanta’, dashed all their hopes.When many expected melodies from
Ilayaraja, the clipping turned the yesteryear hit to a mass item number
with a beauty dishing out sumptuous and sensuous glamor treat.
