Ranjitha filed case against Kanchi Sankaracharya
Actress Ranjitha who is linked up with contraversial swami Nityananda filed case against Kanchi Sankaracharya. The actress is a devotee of the controversial Swami Nithyananda and she said that during an interview last week, the Kanchi Sankaracharya made unseemly insinuations about their relationship. She has approached the Egmore Magistrate Court to file a defamation case against Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal.
Ranjitha said there was no truth to the unsavory comments passed by the Kanchi seer and his words have caused her “immense agony and stress” in addition to being defamatory.
