Shriya is not keen... but directors insist...
Shriya has said that she is not very keen on doing glamorous roles but unfortunately it is the directors that come up with such scripts. The actress adds that she is eager in doing performance-oriented roles instead of appearing a glam doll in a few scenes. On the roles that she would love to do, Shriya has said that she is looking forward to play a village belle.
The actress has two films this year – Deepa Mehta’s Midnight Children based on Salman Rushdie’s novel and Life is Beautiful, a Telugu film. She hopes that these films would bring her the break that she needs right now.
