Tollywood Sankranti Festival To Begin
The number of Sankranti releases have come down to three films, Earlier it was The Businessman and Bodyguard. However, Nandamuri Tarakaratna has announced that his film, Nandiwarudu is also in the race. Ravi Teja’s Nippu and Sunil’s Poola Rangadu were shunted two weeks down the line citing delays in post production work. The delay in the release of Sri Rama Raja was also attributed to delay in post production (graphics) work.
The Producer’s Council went to the Chief Minister with a representation stating that no dubbed film should be released during important festivals with small-budget productions getting postponed due to delays in post-production work and only the big banners remain in the race
